Darren joined QV Investors in early 2006. He is responsible for the analysis of larger Canadian companies and is a Portfolio Manager of the QV Canadian Equity Pooled Fund. He serves as a Director of the firm and in October 2011, he assumed the role of Vice President of QV Investors. Prior to his role at QV, he held the role of Equity Trader/Research Analyst with Alberta Investment Management Corporation and was an Associate with Canada Trust Private Investment Counsel in Edmonton.  He is a CFA® charterholder and has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Alberta. He is a member of the Calgary CFA Society.

Darren was a member of Toastmasters and over the years has held the roles of President, Treasurer and VP, Education for the organization. Furthermore, he has worked in a charitable capacity for Fringe Theatre Adventures and the Caritas Volunteer Association.
